The Adjacent Possible
Through Toast and Tiger, I was commissioned by The Adjacent Possible—a woman-owned small business focused on helping individuals design solutions, apply analytical approaches, and build capacity to advance evidence and improve lives. The project centered on designing a deck of goal-setting and coaching cards to guide clients in outlining tangible steps toward social change. A key goal of the project was accessibility—the cards were intentionally designed to be approachable for a wide range of users, including children. The vision was for parents to eventually use these cards with their kids, sparking meaningful conversations around goals, equity, and personal agency in an engaging, age-appropriate way. The design balances clarity, warmth, and simplicity to support thoughtful dialogue across generations.
